Our Programs

When families struggle to access fresh, nutritious food, we step in with solutions that work. From baskets bursting with local produce to weekend meals that carry kids through the summer, our programs meet people where they are with dignity, quality, and care.

Whether it's a basket of farm-fresh vegetables, a weekend food bag for a child, seeds to grow a garden at home, or a pantry stocked and ready when you need it most, we're here to make sure no one in Campbell County goes without good food.

All of our programs are strengthened by our 41-acre nonprofit farm, which will soon provide fresh, local food year-round.

Local Veggie Baskets

Our spring, summer, and fall baskets feature the best of Wyoming’s growing season, including fresh vegetables and herbs, locally raised meat, farm-fresh eggs, and Wyoming honey. Over 90% of the produce is grown by our team right here in Campbell County and the rest is sourced from local producers, keeping your dollars in our state.

Impact: Since 2020, we've delivered over $55,000 worth of fresh, local food to families who need it most.

How to Get a Basket:

  • Free baskets: For families receiving SNAP or WIC benefits

  • Discounted baskets: For households who don't qualify for federal assistance but fall below Wyoming's self-sufficiency standard

  • Retail baskets: Anyone can purchase a basket to enjoy fresh, local food while supporting our mission and local producers

Seasons Available: Spring (May), Summer (July-September), Fall (October)

November-February (off-season): Registration for 2026 baskets opens in mid-March. Join our newsletter to be the first to know when sign-ups begin.

Summer Weekend Meals for Kids

When school ends for the summer, many children face uncertainty about their next meal. Each week for ten weeks, we provide over 200 children with nutritious, kid-friendly food bags. Each bag includes weekend meal equivalents, enough for two breakfasts, two lunches, two dinners, and two snacks, and features fresh fruits and vegetables alongside shelf-stable favorites. The program culminates with a bag that covers two full weekends of meals.

When crisis hits, we respond. During the 2025 federal government shutdown, we quickly mobilized to pack and distribute 408 emergency food bags for children in our program, ensuring no child missed a meal when federal programs faltered.

Impact: Through our regular summer program in 2025, we distributed 2,570 weekend food bags. Since 2020, we've placed 15,814 summer weekend bags directly in the hands of children.

Gleaning

At the end of each growing season, we harvest leftover produce from our farm and donate it to local food banks, pantries, and our Little Free Pantry network, so no food goes to waste.

Impact: In 2025, we donated 682 pounds of winter squash and pie pumpkins to the Council of Community Services and the Salvation Army.
